Positive Futures works with “looked After”
children and young people and children with
life threatening illnesses or disabilities.
We also run Positive Futures Plus for
adults.
In the UK we are working with 5 children’s
homes in the UK delivering a Health Passport
Programme. We have also recently issued a
small number of grants to children and young
people affected by disability or life
threatening illnesses.
In Romania we work with 5 children’s homes
and also two large state run institutions
for adults with disabilities. Volunteers
join us from CAST to provide a range of
educational and social activities and have
been successful in introducing Intensive
Interaction Programmes with the children and
adults in care. |
