In
June Maisy was diagnosed with a brain
tumour.Maisy
was just 14 months old at that time and
almost immediately underwent a series of
operations to try to resolve the problem.
Unfortunately the tumour was caused by a
rare but very aggressive form of cancer that
only affects 1 in 500 people worldwide per
year.
Sadly, On the 5th
October 2009, Maisy moved on and left her
disease behind to play in the stars with her
Grandpa.
Her short life will be remembered through
The Maisy Rose Project as we carry on her
fight through research to help find cures
for what are now the biggest killers of all
cancers.
The Maisy Rose
Project is raising funds to plough into the
research of rare Brain Tumours so that Maisy
can help children & families in the same
situation.
